Hey! My name is Mary, I'm available after school, 3 days a week for general childcare, light cleaning, and laundry. I can help with homework, read stories, make snacks (of a healthy variety and spread), encourage cleanliness, play games, foster creativity, and I have a record player with an assortment of classic songs to encourage exercise. I have volunteered in 2 dance studios, working with children on dancing. (Ballet, Tap, Acro/Tumbling) I volunteered for 5 years at the local hospital, helping out with various types of things that translate well into child care. A suggested evening with a toddler/small child might include a snack while I help with any confusing schoolwork or reading sent home, afterwards we might talk about their day (how it was, what did the learn?, etc...), then we could get out crayons and coloring paper or we could play a favorite game of theirs. If there Read more were any chores they needed to get done (some people like their children to tidy their room), they would be accomplished. (If asked for, I carry a Victrola record player and a multitude of records for naptimes, dancing, and playing) While your was doing any number of these, I could wipe down your furniture, do some vacuuming, pop your laundry in the washer or dryer. Maybe do some dinner prep, or turn on your crockpot. All in all, I show up presentable, amiable, and eager go help.
