Hello my name is Jennifer Pruden. I am 25 years old. I am in college studying Early Childcare Education.I am a floater(teacher) at a daycare in town! I have been looking after kids since I was 10 years old. I used to help my parents out with my brother and sister. i was 10 years old when i really started to watch other peoples children.I started off watching a couples family that lived on the same street as my family. The mom and dad would work during the day and I would watch the newborn and 5 year old. The mothers mom was at the house but she could not walk with the baby or stand up for long amounts of time,so she either sat in the livingroom or she stayed in her bedroom while I helped the children. Since then I have babysat for over 35 families. Watched 60+ Read more children. I was a nanny over the Summer 2010 break for a family that the husband was deployed and the wife worked from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Some nights I wouldn't even hear from her and I'd be left with the kids. I took them to their camps,took them shopping,to the pool,park,and did something around the house to keep them occupied. I love being around kids. I can't see myself getting another job where there are't kids. I love watching them interact with one another,helping them learn how to accomplish something such as using the "potty" or reading a book. I normally watch children at their house. I don't speak any other languages.
