Hi, I’m Aliyah Smith. I'm from Jacksonville, NC after graduating from high school. I attended Saint Augustine University here in Raleigh NC. My family is full of caring and loving childcare teachers and teachers. Which it didn't surprise me that I fell in love with working with children. After being in college I started my part-time job as an aftercare teacher at Renaissance Montessori. After graduating from college in 2018. I was offered a full-time position at Renaissance Montessori and I am currently an assistant teacher. I am taking an online course to be an infant and toddler lead teacher there. I’ve been in childcare for four years now and babysitting for a few years now. I’ve grown so much and I want to continue to learn and grow with each child that it is in my presence.
