Hi I’m Katelyn, a rising Junior at the University of Alabama, pursing a degree in nursing with hopes to work in pediatrics or NICU! I am great with kids, can easily entertain, enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, and organized. I have 6 years experience in babysitting and can provide multiple references. My experience includes a mom with twin toddlers a boy and a girl and a 5 year old boy for 4+ years, families with 1-3 children ages ranging from 3-10 years old, and a special needs 11 year old boy with cerebral palsy/quadriplegic. I help out around the house (i.e. laundry, dishes, cleaning, organizing, running errands, drive/pickup children, prepare snacks, make dinner, putting children to bed, etc) I have experience with taking toddlers and young children to the pool to swim and to the park. I love doing arts and crafts and playing with children. I have made up dances with Read more children, played wii games, Barbie’s, play pretend, build forts, beyblades, board games, painting, drawing, supervised bike riding by walking beside them, outdoor games, etc. I have experience with problem solving between siblings. I have experience with babysitting for a mom with 3 children (twin toddlers, 5 year old boy) I was there as an extra hand while she worked from home some days and I entertained her children when she needed time to herself to run errands. I love being a sitter because the sky’s the limit with imagination and creativity. Watching children express themselves, learn, and grow is an amazing thing to be apart of.
