I grew up in a large family so I helped care for siblings. I did babysitting for friends and family as a teen. I have two girls of my own; they are 31 and 20. I supervised their friends when they visited when they were young. I also taught school for 27 plus years mostly for Onslow County Schools. After I took early retirement from public school teaching, I was an infant teacher at the Tarawa Terrace II Child Development Center and the Midway Park Child Development Center.
