I just moved back to WA and am 28 weeks pregnant and have a 7 year old daughter who is in the second grade. I am looking to earn some money by babysitting, being a nanny, or even helping run errand for someone or house sit. I am very flexible as far as what I can do. I do hope since I am pregnant someone would be willing to give me a chance and see that I am fully capable of taking care of children or a house. When I was in high school many moons ago I was certified in everything. Stars certified, I had my babysitting certificate when I was a teenager, I took many classes in order to prepare myself for the job I wanted(which was childcare). I have been a live-in nanny when I was in fresh out of high school, a babysitter, a pre-k teacher Read more and assistant, and was a floater who worked with all ages babies, toddlers, and young children. I am now a mother and have been lucky enough to be a stay at home mom. Some different experience I have had was working with Volunteers of America. I worked at a transitional house for homeless women and their children doing things like the intake process or even taking the girls to the food bank or magic show. Whatever needed done I was more than willing to make it happen. I received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2012 for all my work done with the organization. I also volunteered at Roseboro Elementary in North Carolina because it was my daughters first year in school and I wanted to help out in any way I could, I would come every Tuesday and Thursday for a couple hours and do table-top activities with the kiddos.
