I have been an elementary and preschool teacher since graduating with a degree in Elementary Education in 1992. Since then I have taught children of all ages and am passionate about bringing fun and creativity into children’s lives. I have been married for 26 years and my best experience comes from raising my two children who are now 22 and 20 years old. I am CPR and first aide certified and always seek to provide care that incorporates all I have learned in both teaching and being a mom. Upon moving to Franklinton from Raleigh I began babysitting for many families on a full time basis. It was a natural next step for where I am in life. I can provide a resume and excellent references. My goal is for you the parent to feel like your child(ten) is receiving excellent care while I am with them. I love to Read more play games, go outside, make art, sing songs, read books, and create a caring environment where your child feels happy and comfortable. I feel there is a vast difference in babysitting and nurturing a child. I have experience with special needs children as well. I have no problem cooking and tidying up. I am comfortable with taking care of multiple children of all different ages.
