From a young age I have always loved to take care of and nurture all living things, weather it be a baby bird who fell from a tree or a germinating seed sprouting from the soil. I have continued to pursue this love of helping things grow by farming on a small and sustainable scale, providing the community with healthy food. I started as a mothers helper at a young age, and have always been enchanted by the curious and imaginative mind of a child. I lived in Colorado for 3 years and babysat for multiple families in a neighborhood in Colorado Springs. My responsibilities included preparing breakfast, lunch and dinners for 3 children at a time, sometimes more. I would take them to the park to play, take them on short nature walks around the neighborhood and picked them up from school. I moved to Washington state to work Read more on a farm, growing food for a restaurant at a resort and retreat called Doe Bay. On my days off and evenings I would babysit for the Resort manager and his family. I moved back to my hometown in Maryland for the winter of 2014 and continued to babysit for a family in Baltimore. I have now settled into Saluda, NC and love this area! I would like to find a family who is passionate about life and providing their family with a healthy and loving environment.
