Hello! I’m Nikki, and I’m 28 years old. I’ve been a nanny on and off for over ten years now, and I started my first job after finishing up at a childcare center back in 2012. I’ve worked for over five different families long term, and worked with children as young as three months old and as old as twelve years old. Before becoming a nanny, I worked in a childcare facility for over a year and a half where I was taught how to work with children of all ages, handle stressful situations, adapt and face any challenge, and make sure every child felt like they mattered during my time there. I worked for many military families so I’m used to starting my day as early as 5:30 am, and sometimes not finishing till well after 7:00 pm. I’ve done nanny shares, worked with twins, and handled school age children by making sure they arrived at their bus on time, finishing their homework, and were ready and awake every morning for school. The thing I love most about being a nanny is that every day isn’t the same. You can choose to have a unique experience everyday you are there. You can find a Pinterest craft one day, visit the park the next day, and it’s a blast seeing your nanny kid enjoying those experiences right along with you. A little bit about me: I’ve been married for about six years now to my high school sweetheart, I just graduated with my associates in graphic design, and in my spare time I enjoy reading, drawing, and spending time with my family. I have four animals of my own, one cat and three dogs, and I love to curl up with them at the end of a long day. Some safety concerns: I keep my CPR/First Aid up to date, and I got the Covid vaccine back in January, but I continue to practice social distancing, mask wearing and hand washing.
