While in high school and then freshman year of college back at home, I cared for an infant from 7 months until she was 4 years old. This family ended up having another child, which I also cared for before moving to college. I would pick up the children from daycare and made them meals. I also played with them, did arts and crafts, and helped around the house. It was challenging, but at the same time rewarding because I learned a ton. I also have experience with working at a camp over the summer, which involved children K-8 grade. This was a very exciting experience for me and really made me enjoy working with children. This past summer (2016) I babysat two children ages 3 and 5. We went hiking, to the playground, baked treats, did arts and crafts, swam, and went to the library.
