My name is Aaron! I am currently a student in my second year of law school. I am mainly trying to make some extra money while in school. Before starting school, I was a counselor at the Boys & Girls Club of the Piedmont (I worked there for the school year). This was my absolute favorite job, and I was liked by the staff, parents, and most importantly the children. I, along with the other counselors, was responsible for ensuring the children completed their homework, I supervised meal time, free-play time, and designed STEM and other learning activities in which the children could participate. we supervised upwards of 30 children at a time. I have also volunteered at several elementary schools in the Greensboro area--reading to children, helping with class assignments and homework. I get along with children very well, and I love to play and have fun just as Read more much as they do. I have just as much energy as them, maybe more! However, I can also project a disciplined presence when needed, firm but fair. Also, I know that there is a time for play and a time for work. I believe that trust is the most important aspect when it comes to childcare, and it is something that is built over time. The parents should be able to trust me, and I them. I am not afraid of high-pressure situations, and I am able to keep calm in an otherwise chaotic setting. I am looking for a good fit, flexible hours, and an overall great working relationship between myself, the children, and the parents!
