I’m a retired mother of 2 grown children, boy and a girl. I’m also a grandmother of 2 gorgeous granddaughters, now 4 & 7. I’m originally from Raleigh NC, but moved to Wilmington NC in 2012. I’m married and live with my husband and our small Maltipoo pup named Rue. Our daughter and husband live here in Wilmington as well. We enjoy spending time with them and our granddaughters as much as possible. They are in school and preschool and have packed after school activities during the week. I adore children and started babysitting at 12 years old. I babysat for a nurse(single mother) with 2 children, a 6 month old baby and her step daughter, 6. That was a long summer for me, but secured future babysitting jobs throughout my teen years through college. I’m a very caring individual and require an everyday routine. I eat a Mediterranean style Read more diet and exercise each morning. I also love art and different fun projects that we can make together. I also promote reading with children of all ages. I enjoy being outside and encourage getting children out of the house, weather permitting. Being a mother was the most important job I ever had.
