My mother ran a day care in our home for many, many years. My sister and I loved having a house full of children to play with. As we became older we helped in any way we could. In highschool I was able to run the day care by myself. As an adult I was a preschool teacher, Sunday school teacher, Brownie Scout leader and cared for children in my home. I think my favorite job was for a 3 week old that cried and cried when he was with his mother. He cried for me his first day and never again in the 5 years that I cared for him. Joining him was his little brother. I am still in touch with that family and that 3 week old is now 18 and in college.
