Hi, I'm Barbara Daley and I just completed my first year of nursing school at St Louis University. I intend to work in pediatric oncology as a nurse. I enjoy working with children and babies. I have 6 years' experience in childcare, babysitting kids from ages 6 to 10. I also have a cousin who has a baby about to turn 1, who I have taken care of as well. I also have a long history of volunteerism in the community. I was part of a support circle helping a family emerge from homelessness for a year. The family included a single mom and her three young children. I watched the children while the mother went to therapy, job interviews, and classes. I also participated in Operation Harvest in Wake Forest for 7 years, delivering groceries to families in need.
