I am a recent graduate from American University in Washington D.C. and now live back on Long Island! During my academic career I was the captain of the Division 1 Cheerleading team, participated in the Public Health Association on campus, and was inducted into the National Society for Collegiate Scholars. While balancing these extracurriculars, I was financially independent and relied on two to three jobs at a time. The most enjoyable employment opportunities I held were always working with children. I served as a regular babysitter for many families, and a full time nanny for two different families over the last four years. I also worked at a private international school as an auxiliary programs instructor and ESL teacher's aide for three years.
