I've been taking care of children since I was 12 years old. I turned 42 on September 16th 2023. I've worked with children from various backgrounds. I've taking care of children born in the U.S.A who's parents speak english or spanish and are from various places around the word. One of the kids I've taken care of his father is Greek. I've taken care of children with slight learning disabilities such as: Add, learning disability, dyslexia, adhd, and slightly autistic. I do have add/learning disability/slightly dyslexic and have a degree in early childhood education/human services from Lynn University. I graduated in 2004 with a 3.5 grade point adverage. While I was working in a school setting I would help with various activities. Whether it was a school dance, carnival, movie night, etc. I'm willing to assist a childs parents with activities within the areas of South Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Read more and South Miami. My family and I recently moved to Vero Beach, Florida after living in Europe for 7 years. My family and I own 1 car. If I were to babysit, I would need to know in advance when, where, and for how long. We have a rescue dog who´s a mix of Jack Russell Terror and Bull Terror. So, I´m accustumed to pets. I have a clean criminal background. Never been in trouble with the law. I´m used to the parents having their house rules hangup so that everyone knows the rules. I´m used to two children max but, would take care of 3 if paid a bit more. I´m used to meal prep if it´s something small and doesn´t require much cooking. The parents have the kichen fully stocked for light meals, snacks, etc. I´m used to having the bedtime routine hungup so that they kids and I know when bedtime is (8:00 p.m on school nites usually, and 10:00 p.m on weekends.) I have two certifications from the department of children and families here in Florida. I can speek Spanish (all though I´m not fluent but, I do comprehend/understand it very well.) I can help with homework as long as it´s not math since that´s my weakest school subject.
