I have always enjoyed working with children because I love supporting their growth, watching them learn, and helping them have fun safely. Being a babysitter allows me to combine my patience and creativity to provide a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, both at home and in extracurricular activities. My skills include effective communication, conflict resolution, routine organization, planning educational and creative activities, assisting with homework, preparing healthy meals, and supervising outdoor play. Additionally, I have completed courses in childcare and safety, allowing me to provide responsible, reliable, and adaptable care for each family. I'm new to this app. I'm a Spanish speaker with basic English skills. Give me a chance to show my love for children. Thanks Note: Right now I'm taking care of an infant on Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm

Karolay is a wonderful sitter, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to book her for my 11-month-old! From the very start, she was prompt and professional — quick to respond to emails and texts, and right on time and ready to take over when she arrived. My little one had a runny nose that day, and Karolay made sure she felt completely comforted and cared for. It was such a delight to come home and find them cozied up on the sofa, my daughter happily enjoying her bottle without a care in the world. I felt completely at ease the entire time I was away. My daughter had a wonderful day, and I cannot wait to book Karolay again!

I am a professional, educated, and dependable caregiver. I started caring for children at a young age. In High School I lifeguarded, coached a swim team of 75 children (ages 5-18), worked at a daycare in the infant and toddler rooms, taught private swim lessons to ages 6mo-15, and had a book of families I babysat for regularly. While I was in college I worked at a Residential Facility for special needs children and I was trained to assist children with many different needs. I'm also dually licensed in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I have a Bachelor’s in Business Management. And I was in Sales/Marketing/Management for 16 years. Covid changed my outlook and Im now back to helping enrich the lives of children. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

Hello dear families! I've been an Au-pair for three wonderful families with kids in between 2 and 11 years old, pets always being a big and important part of the families as well. After my last au pair experience I worked as a FT Nanny for an amazing family and their 14 months old little lady, following a season working in a high school as a Distance Learning Assistant in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools district in NC. I have a diverse background and have used au-pairing and 'nannying' as a great tool to explore different places, and immerse myself deeper in the US culture. I'm a native Spanish speaker, originally from Venezuela and a Materials Engineer by profession. My whole path ended up taking me into working in different areas like tourism, winemaking, childcare, among others. I'm currently based in NOVA and do volunteer at a doggies and kitties shelter in the area. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have, listen to your needs, so we can work together towards fulfilling then and hopefully become part of your amazing journey! Thank you, Rebeca

Why do you love being a sitter? I truly enjoy caring for children and supporting families. Being a mama of 6 including a set of twins, grandma of 1 and a doula allows me to create a safe, calm, and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and cared for. I love helping kids learn, play, and grow while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in capable and loving hands. What experience do you have? I have over 20 years of hands-on experience as a stay-at-home parent and homeschool teacher. During that time, I’ve cared for children of various ages, managed daily routines, assisted with learning activities, meals, and bedtime, and handled the many unexpected moments that come with childcare. I also have experience supporting families through organization, communication, and consistency. What skills and training do you have? I bring strong childcare, organization, and communication skills. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and very comfortable maintaining structure while being flexible to a child’s needs. My background includes homeschooling, and household management, which means I’m detail-oriented, trustworthy, and great at following family guidelines. I prioritize safety, respect family values, and always aim to create a positive, nurturing experience for every child.

Where do I even begin?! First off, Giah is SUCH a sweet & selfless woman. Her kindness alone will make you feel extremely comfortable with her. Even though we live in two different states, she was always available day or night for me, my husband and our baby. It had been 5 years since my last pregnancy, so I had forgotten a lot of little things when it came to pregnancy and childbirth. She is also the first doula Ive ever had. We had all intentions on having a home birth, or at least doing a majority of my labor at home, then making our way to the hospital. But circumstances changed and I had a scheduled c-section instead. BUT Giah was there for us every step of the way. With any concerns or questions I had, she always had an answer or reassurance. I will recommend Giah to anyone looking for a doula. She isn't just someone I had as a doula, but she has become family to us.

Hello! I’m a 21-year-old nanny with a strong passion for childcare, and I've been nurturing and guiding children since I began my journey at 16, At 19 I started working with autistic kids becoming a RBT .My experience spans various age groups, allowing me to develop a versatile approach tailored to each child's unique needs and personality. I believe that childhood is a time for exploration, creativity, and fun. I love to keep kids active and engaged, whether it's through outdoor adventures, imaginative play, or hands-on arts and crafts. I encourage learning through play and make it a priority to incorporate educational activities that spark curiosity and foster growth. Safety and communication are key elements in my nannying philosophy. I strive to create a supportive, loving environment where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves. I'm also dedicated to maintaining open lines of communication with parents, ensuring that we're all on the same page regarding routines, activities, and any special needs. Outside of nannying, I enjoy staying active myself, pursuing outdoor activities, and keeping up with new trends in child development. I bring enthusiasm and creativity to every interaction, and my goal is to help your little ones thrive while having a blast! I’m excited to meet you and your family and be a part of your children.

Olya came prepared to the interview! Was so professional and kind. We hired her as our full time nanny and have been delighted to have her with us for the last year! We plan to keep her until our children are school aged. We trust her with our sons safety and emotional wellbeing more than we trust blood relatives.
