Having worked in the Behavioral Therapy (ABA) world for over a decade, I know how hard it can be to find child care for a kiddo with atypical behaviors; and that it's against the rules for most companies who provide therapy services to also provide babysitting. My experience includes: Autism, ADHD, ODD, Down Syndrome, OCD, anxiety, dyslexia, dysgraphia, aggression, sensory processing, deaf/hearing impaired, learning disabilities, and children in need of general behavioral shaping. I am a Certified Behavior Technician, semi-fluent in ASL (American sing language), NC Early Educator Certified, and CPR/First Aid trained. I currently work with kids on the spectrum and I thought it would be nice to offer families some relief in the sense of knowing they can leave their, not disabled, but differently able, children with an experienced caregiver.
