Caroline was great! She jumped right in sitting all seven (7!) of the kids in our group, and they all had d a great time with her while we went out for an evening out. We were in town visiting for spring break (5 different families) so it was a one-time thing, but we’d absolutely hire Caroline again if we’re ever in Asheville again.

My name is Bryn and I graduated in 2020 from Cal Poly with my Bachelors. I have over 10 years of babysitting/nannying experience, with children mainly from 8 months-4 years, however I have a good amount of experience with older kids too. I nannied full time from 2020-2021 for a little over a year for two toddlers (14 months and 2.5 years at the start). Most of my other experience has been with 1-2-year-old toddlers as I worked part time for three years at a local Church's childcare programs and I absolutely loved it. I also have experience with a variety of special needs children and multiples. I’m available evenings and/or weekends!

About Me Hi! My name is Anastasiia, and I have over 3 years of childcare experience working with children from 9 months to 6 years old. Caring for children is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always strive to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where kids can feel happy, comfortable, and supported. I understand that every child is unique, so I take the time to learn their personality, interests, and routine. Whether we’re reading books, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, helping with learning activities, or simply making everyday moments fun, I always focus on keeping children engaged while helping them grow with confidence. Parents describe me as patient, responsible, trustworthy, calm, and dependable. I believe communication with parents is just as important as caring for their children, so I always provide updates and make sure they feel confident that their little ones are in good hands. I am a native Russian speaker, and I can also communicate in English,Spanish and Ukrainian which allows me to connect with families from different backgrounds. My goal is simple: to become someone your child feels safe with and someone you can completely trust. I treat every child with kindness, patience, and respect—the same way I would want someone to care for my own child❤️

Anastasia took care of our two toddlers for nearly a week when we visited Asheville for a conference at a local resort. She was very sweet, gentle natured and caring and took excellent care of them. She followed all directions that we asked and the kids had a lot of fun in her care. Her sister also visited with the kids and helped her with some of their baths and bedtime. We were very lucky to find her!
Korie K.

Hi, I’m Korie! I started babysitting as soon as I was allowed to take the Red Cross babysitter’s course at age 11 (30 years ago!) Since then I’ve worked as a professional nanny for several families, spent ten years running my own martial arts, wellness, and leadership program for kids, led a small homeschool preschool pod, and developed a parent coaching program called Thrive Atlas. These days I run parenting workshops and raise my two amazing girls, ages 8 and 14. Children have been the center of my life’s work for a long time, and I find it deeply rewarding. My approach to caregiving is attachment-focused, which means I pay close attention to building trust and a sense of safety with each child. When kids feel secure and genuinely seen, they’re free to explore, learn and develop a layered understanding of the world around them. I draw on Montessori and Waldorf styles, following the child’s natural curiosity, offering hands-on and imaginative play, and creating calm, unhurried rhythms to the day. I also love weaving in basic Spanish and French vocabulary and plenty of time in nature. One of my priorities is listening to you as a family before I begin spending time with your little one. Every household has its own values, routines, and priorities, and honoring those is important to me. If you’d like to talk about what your family needs, I’d love to connect.

I started watching kids while I was 13, watching over my younger siblings and babysitting my neighbors' kids and my mom's friends' children. I began falling in love with children when I was always just playing with them and staying active. Babysitting kids really teaches you a lot that you thought you couldn't learn from a child and their so creative and energetic it always keeps you on your toes wanting to learn more. I began actually babysitting when I was 16, to try and help me earn some money on the side while doing what I love and now I do it to help pay for college.
