Hi! I have enjoyed caring for children ever since I can remember. I especially love the bond that is formed when I have had the opportunity to work with families as a nanny. I have over 20 years experience working with families/babies/ children in a variety of settings. I earned my Bachelor's degree in elementary education and my Master's degree in Literacy (reading specialist) from UNC-Wilmington and have been an elementary school teacher/ reading specialist for 13 years. (I taught at Carolina Beach Elementary for 9 years!) I have also nannyed for several families and helped my brother and sister-in-law care for their premature triplets when they came home from the hospital in March 2000. They were born at 28 weeks and required round-the-clock monitoring and care the first few months of their life. I have also taught vacation bible school, been a summer camp counselor at Figure 8 Yacht Club and taken care of the nursery during Sunday church services at my church.
