I have a lot of experience watching kids from ages 2 months to 8 years old. I have pretty much grown up around kids! From a young age I took every opportunity to help out in my grandma's daycare. I have also worked as a consistent babysitter for several families for years, watching the children as they grow through different stages and experiences. I grew up making up stories and playing pretend, so I love to do the same with children; many families are in awe of how well I can keep children entertained without the use of technology. As a future teacher, I love learning, so I try to incorporate educational activities in fun ways whenever I can. Through my experience I have learned how to gain respect while maintaining a fun environment. I am currently a second year UNCW student studying special education, so my availability during the Read more school year is somewhat limited. I hope to nanny again full time over the summer since the family I nannied last summer moved to NY.
