Howdy! My name is Diamond, and I've been working with children for over 20 years, both at my job and at church. What can I say, I love children. I do believe it takes a certain type of person to truly connect with children, and I do. I have a son that is 13, and he has the same gift. I have a heart for children. Sometimes they really do just want someone to sit and spend time/play with them. That's a childcare provider's sole purpose! To connect with that child and give them 100% of their best during that time. I love to be silly and I love getting children to use their imagination and stretch their brains. My goal is to leave with the children feeling safe and cared for. I'm not saying it's always been easy. All children are NOT the same. But I actually enjoy those Read more challenges. I'm not sure why, but these are the children I end up being closer to. I am older, so I'm sure some wonder why I still Nanny/Babysit. I just quit my job at a childcare center. I loved the job and the people, so I didn't leave for any negative reasons. I just wanted more flexibility for time with my son.
