Hi! My name is Lauren. I just got married and moved to Hickory in September. I spend most of my time with my husband and our adorable cat, Ruthie. We enjoy anything outdoors, traveling, and family game nights. I have been around children my entire life, and have a huge passion for the well being of kids. I have several younger cousins, of which I babysat them when they were younger. I have worked in children's classes in church and was a camp counselor and staff member the summers. I babysat two year old twins, worked at a daycare, and was a live-in nanny for 3 out of 6 years with one family. I have helped children navigate through school work, walked with them through becoming a big sibling, traveled with children, dropped off and picked them up from school, and so much more. I encourage outside play, using their Read more imagination, and implement life lessons throughout the day. Children are much smarter than people give credit, and they are little sponges that soak in so much information and experiences. My goal is ensure their safety, intentionally be present, and guide them to live life to their full potential.
