Hello! My name is Elizabeth! I also go by Ellie. I have always enjoyed working with kids! So much that I began to go to school to become an early educator, unfortunately that path had to come to a stop when I had to pick up job to help pay bills! The first experience I have taking care of children is that I have babysat for a family friend for as long as I remember. They are a foster family that have many different and unique kids with different backgrounds come in and out of their households as their families get situated! I have also worked at the William G. White YMCA as mt first official job for about 2 years before I moved to retail! At the YMCA I would watch up to 30+ kids at one time with one other staff member and it would always run smoothly Read more believe it or not because I believe that interacting with kids and letting them know you’re interested in what they are doing helps them develop a characteristic that’s very much needed today which is being sociable. I would create fun activists for the kids to do with what the YMCA provided (which wasn’t much) and they would always brag to their parents about what they did with Ms. Kiwi (that’s me). After working at the YMCA I went to go work at a pet store that I currently work at now! I love animals as much as I do kids so I figured why not give animals a try! I love letting the kids that come into the store interact with any of the animals, while teaching them things they may not know about them! So think of it as your little local “zoo”! I’m very outgoing and spontaneous! I love to keep the energy alive with my amazing dad jokes. I never let a bad morning affect my day!
