Hello! I’m a graduate student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, pursuing my Ph.D. after graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Biology and a B.A. in Women, Gender, and Sexuality. I recently moved from Charlottesville, where I worked full-time as a research technician studying leukemia and lymphomas. During that time, I also babysat two energetic boys for two years, gaining extensive experience with neurodiverse and emotionally sensitive children. I am the youngest of five siblings and have been an aunt since I was 8 years old, when my oldest sister had her first child. Over the past 16 years, I’ve become an aunt to seven wonderful nieces and nephews, and since age 15, I’ve served as their babysitter during various periods. I love watching each child’s individuality emerge and helping to nurture it. While I’m outgoing and love to engage, I’m equally comfortable providing a Read more calm, quiet environment when children need it. Previously, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at UVA Medical Center on a post-surgical floor for nearly two years. Before that, I spent three summers as a lifeguard in my hometown. I’m currently seeking occasional evening or date-night babysitting opportunities in the Winston-Salem area. If you’re looking for a responsible, warm, and experienced caregiver, I’d love to help!
