After graduating college with a Communications degree, I went straight into the professional world. It has taken me a few years to figure out that isn't the right path for me. I'm going back to school and looking for a job that keeps me busy, and what better way to keep busy than for caring for children! I have a lot of experience working with kids, in high school I was a lifeguard, both for a summer camp in Ashland and for the Christ Child Society near downtown Omaha. During college, I was a summer fun club counselor for the YMCA before moving on to work as a shift supervisor for Starbucks for 5 years. I was extremely involved in college, volunteering for student-run programs and interning for various PR and graphic design professionals.
