I have 30 years of experience working with young children and families. I was a lead teacher for 4 large state licensed childcare/preschools for 14+ years working primarily with infants and toddlers. I am experienced working with single or multiple children at a time. I was also the Center Director of a large (200+ Children/day) state licensed childcare and preschool for 15 years. I have worked with children who have special needs with a variety of physical and learning disabilities. I am also a mother of two boys; now a teen and a young adult. I am also mom to two rescued bulldogs and am comfortable with pets. I decided to semi retire early when Covid shut things down to help my boys with remote learning and assist my elderly parents. I am now looking to work again part time for some extra family income and to spend time once Read more again with young children and assist families that need help with care and teaching their little ones. (I really miss it!) Although I do need to update my certification; I had been CPR/First aid certified all the years that I was employed in licensed childcare. I am vaccinated and boosted for Covid. I live in Gretna and would prefer to work in the Gretna, LaVista, Millard, Elkhorn, and West Omaha area.
