I am a graduate of UNL with a degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies with minors in Gerontology, Psycholgy, and Education. I currently work at Lincoln Southeast High School as a Para-Educator, and would love to serve you and your family after school hours and on the weekends! I have extensive experience working with children, and those with special needs. Serving children has been a part of my schooling and professional life for years! Throughout college I worked with both children and adults in various caregiving atmospheres. As a student at UNL, I majored in Family Science with minors in Gerontology, Psychology and Education. This gave me a brief intro to adults and children with special needs. After college, I moved to Colorado Springs. There, I worked at a day-program for adults with special needs as both a direct support provider and manager. I worked daily with individuals of Read more varying skills, and worked on life skills, socialization, job skills, and community interaction. I also was a babysitter for two adorable girls on the side. I have recently moved back to Lincoln, NE, and I currently work at Lincoln Southeast High School in the Special Education Department. I support students in the classroom in whatever way is needed to enable them to have a successful school day. I truly love working with children, and I can't image being anywhere else. Serving this children and their families is my passion!
