Hi, my name is Leah, and I am studying Early Childhood Education at UNL and currently completing my student teaching this semester. I love working with kids and have known that since around 6th grade. As far as my previous experience goes, I have worked at a few daycares the past few summers with age groups anywhere from babies to school age. Also, I have helped my mom, over the last few years, with her in-home daycare quite frequently. I have done various babysitting jobs for neighbors and family friends throughout my teen years. I love getting to be around kids and being able to watch them grow, and learn. I feel that kids truly have a unique sense of the world, and that not only do I help teach them, but I learn from them as well.
