I am a mother of two teenage daughters and one of them will be going off to college next fall. Empty nest syndrome is already kicking in! I volunteer for a home that houses women in crisis pregnancies and women stay at the home 8 months after their baby is born and there other children can stay there as well. I enjoy loving on the babies and teaching toddlers. I put myself thru college by being a part-time nanny for a family with 2 children. I started my shift on a Thursday afternoon and left the home on Monday morning to attend classes. I did this for 2 years.
