Hi! My name is Sophia and I'm currently a senior at Creighton studying psychology with a minor in marketing! I have always had a passion of working with people and especially working with children. Some of my experiences include volunteering at vacation bible school at my church for 5 years, to teaching communion classes and high school confirmation classes for about three years, to babysitting for friends and family and eventually working in childcare at a daycare center in Omaha as well as through completely kids where I helped with ages from kinder to high school. From all this, I've developed a strong understanding and background of how to care for children in the best most engaging way while still creating a safe space for all. My positive attitude and energetic personality help me connect easily with kids, making them feel comfortable and excited to spend time together. I find joy in knowing that I’m helping families feel at ease while being able to also express my own creativity through different activities and tasks and passion of care for kiddos. I take pride in creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves—whether we’re playing games, doing crafts, or winding down for story time.
