I have experience working with children ages mostly 0-5, but I do just as well with older children and teens. I've worked as a Child Care Assistant at the Merrimack Valley Child Care Center in Concord, NH. I also interned at the Early Head Start/ Head Start program in Laconia, NH while I was majoring in Human Services at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH. Before I graduated, I left school and became a live-in nanny for my young nephew, who is autistic. That took an abundance of patience, time, and effort; however, it was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding and beneficial jobs I've ever had. I enjoy taking the time to learn the child's behaviors and to offer them structured learning activities and routine as well as interaction and entertainment like music, singing, and dancing. Infants get the cuddling and the singing ;)
