Hi there! My name is Emily DeMaio, and I’m 20 years old and a rising junior at UMass Amherst, majoring in Elementary Education. Working with children has always been my passion, and I bring a mix of hands-on experience, heartfelt care, and playful energy to every family I work with. I’ve been immersed in the world of childcare for as long as I can remember, starting with caring for my three younger siblings, and growing into roles that include babysitting kids of all ages, working as a first-grade teacher’s assistant, and spending the past three years as a substitute teacher. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of children's developmental needs and how to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for them to thrive in.
