Hi! My name is Kacie! I currently work as a Guidance Counselor, at a public charter school in Concord, NH. At home, I am the proud mother of two children, my daughter is 3 1/2, and my son is almost 2. I have my bachelors degree in Social Work, and am currently pursuing my Masters Degree. Children have always been my passion. The fulfillment, and passion that I feel when working with my students, is something that cant possibly be described in so few words. I have been working with children (of all ages, levels of ability and disability, and diversities) for 10 years. As a teenager, I spent all of my free time babysitting for the neighborhood that I grew up in. The children ranged from infant-age 12, and I often watched multiple children at a time. When I turned 18, I pursued working as a paraprofessional for severely Read more disabled children, ages 5-16, while I completed my Bachelors Degree. In between working as a paraprofessional, and my degree program, I worked as a one on one aid for special needs campers, at a local summer camp. Post graduation, I started in my role as Guidance Counselor, where I have been for three years. I obtained my CPR and First Aid certification through Concord Hospital in 2019.
