Hi. I'm a mom of 6 adult children. I homeschooled my kids because I loved spending time with them ( and for academic and character-building reasons as well). My family says that I'm very good at listening to and interacting with children. I'm also known as one who makes very healthy meals; having a big garden in the backyard certainly helps!! I'm a nurse by trade, but haven't practiced for many years. I love playing games, encouraging others and helping kids understand that they are loved and valued. I help a single mom with her 5 kids (ages 6 -14) one day a week. My husband says that these kids anticipate my visits with the joy that a child would have when grandmother pays a visit. I'd love to meet you someday to see how I might be able to help you and love your kids.
