I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and 25 years of experience caring for children from infants to teenagers, including babysitting, being a nanny/household manager, teaching preschool, teaching gymnastics, and coaching cheerleading. I also have my own small business (Braids and Butterflies Spa Parties), hosting spa parties for girls ages 4 to 12. I have been working with children my entire adult life, and couldn't see myself doing anything else. Finding the "right fit" is very important to me, as I believe that communication is key and things go much more smoothly when everyone is on the same page. Being a nanny is more than a job to me; I form lasting relationships with the families that I care for, and I take pride in becoming an extension of family to the children in my care.
