Hello! My name is Becky! I have spent the past 8 years as an elementary special education teacher, and loved pouring my heart into helping children learn and grow. I specialized in helping students learn to use whole language for all kinds of communication. I am also a singer and artist and love incorporating music, crafts, and creativity into learning. I am currently taking a break from teaching to spend more time with my 16 month old daughter, who is my whole world. I like to keep busy and I'm open to doing other household tasks such as laundry, organizing, grocery shopping/errands. I drive a minivan and have a safe driving record, and excellent references! I have decided to put my culinary career on hold as I haven't been able to find reliable childcare since the pandemic and cook life doesn't always coincide with parent life. I used to fill my time after high school watching my mother's friends children. I enjoyed it so much that I watched families from time to time while working night shifts after I graduated. While looking for the perfect chef job I found a nanny job and I loved that family so much I nannied for their family of 3 children full time for a year and then as needed for 4 years after.
