I am an undergraduate student in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College, and I am hoping to gain more experience working with children while I am home from school. I have received college credit in childhood growth and development and special education, giving me practical knowledge about the minds of children and how to provide them with stable care. I also have an up-to-date BLS Health Care Provider certification through the American Heart Association, so I am certified to perform infant CPR. Most of my experience working with children comes from one-time babysitting jobs as well as paid positions within the youth department of the Keene Public Library where I read with and prepared crafts for children. Currently, I am completing an internship at a therapeutic summer camp for children with special needs that I hope will give me the skills to continue on my path of study Read more in special education.
