First and foremost, I absolutely love working with children of all ages! :) I have had a great deal of experience as a babysitter and/or nanny for several families, which includes, but is not limited to: creating a safe atmosphere for each child, meeting daily needs, bathing/dressing and assisting with self-care/hygiene, making quick and healthy meals, keeping up with housework/errands, implementing structure in the home as desired by parents, coordinating activities specifically geared to each child's personality, aiding in homework and creating lesson plans, etc. I also have had over 4, 000 hours of experience teaching in day care centers; this experience includes: using ASL to help children communicate, having one-on-one instruction and play time, experimenting in the arts, building relationships, etc. I am CPR certified and understand basic first aid as well.
