I have previously worked at The Kids Place, a daycare center in Newport for about a year. I watched kids that ranged from 1 year to 5 years old. The past 2 years I have worked at the Newport Rec Center's After School Program. The kids ranged from 2nd grade to 12th grade, with a majority of the kids being between 2nd and 6th grade. At the After School Program I would watch after the kids and organize activities with them, such as arts and crafts or play organized group games in the gym. I have also worked at another daycare in Grantham, NH for about a year and the kids ranged from 10 months old to 7 years old. I graduated from Colby-Sawyer in May 2016 and am currently getting my Masters of Education and teaching certification online at Franklin Pierce University. My plans are to become a secondary Read more teacher in Social Studies. I would love to get as much experience with children before going into the teaching field! I am also CPR/First Aid certified.
