I have always had a passion for dog sitting and babysitting. When I was in elementary school in Tennessee, I used to go around the neighborhood knocking on doors and asking to walk their dogs for them. Of course, that was back in the times when knocking on doors around the neighborhood was safe. That followed with finding a few "as needed" babysitting jobs when I was in 8th grade and my freshman in high school. After my freshman year, I moved across the country to California in the bay area to live with my grandmother. I was blessed to live next door to a wonderful family with 3 children and 2 dogs. The kids were ages 2(girl), 5(boy), and 7(boy). I was the "chosen" babysitter out of the others they had because I was not just watching them, I was playing with them and having fun! It started with Read more watching them for a few hours while the parents went to dinner or a party. Then, it turned into overnight babysitting and/or dog/house sitting. This went on for about 8 years. I was admittedly sad when they were old enough to take care of themselves, but I had the joy of seeing the youngest graduate high school last year and go off to college. I have also been blessed with an amazing niece who just turned 9 in September. I helped my sister quite a bit while she was an infant, seeing that she is a single parent. I have lots of experience, and am excited to have even more adventures. Please let me know if you have any questions for me.
