Hello! My name is Allison, and I’m a recent college graduate looking for part-time child care work. Through my undergraduate experience studying education and anthropology, I developed a deep appreciation for connection and communication with all people- especially kids! As a part of my degree program, I have completed significant coursework in human development, with a focus on effective learning environments and holistic education. Outside of the classroom, I have worked as a substitute teacher in both New Hampshire and Connecticut, delivering lesson plans and filling in for absent teachers/educational professionals across the school day. For the past 5 years, I have worked at a summer camp in Amherst, NH, moving into a supervisory position in 2024. In addition to running daily camp activities through the summer, my role includes managing a staff of 6 full-time counselors, providing behavioral management support/redirection, and coordinating field trips to many exciting places across the state. As an environmental-education facility, I have also assisted in teaching lessons to school groups, as well as hosting site events and workshops. With my 3+ years in child care I’m all about helping your children learn and grow. I love to help out as much as possible (cleaning, running errands for you, etc).
