Hello, my name is Alexandra Clark and I have nannied for a wonderful family, with two amazing boys, for many years. I have worked for the family both full time (infancy and toddler years), and part time, as the boys got older and went off to school. I still am actively involved in their lives and babysit whenever possible. I met the family while I was an assistant pre-k teacher at an organic school, here in New Hampshire. While working at the school, where I began my career in early childhood education, I was trained to foster cooperation, positive conflict resolution, compassion, and self help skills. Being a positive and nurturing person to begin with, this way of teaching came naturally to me. In my opinion, there is no career more rewarding than working with children. I am energetic, love to play outside (in any and all weather) do creative Read more projects with children, and offer structure while enjoying our time together. Most recently I nannied for an amazing family who I met through sitter city at the beginning of the pandemic. During my time with them I cared for children ages 2, 5 and 7. Our main focus was adjusting the children to a new schedule of online learning and activities. I moved with this family in July of 2021 for 6 months to Brentwood, California. I was able to help the children adapt to moving across the country and also back to in person schooling. I helped hire and train the next nanny before moving back to New Hampshire where my fiancé and family reside. I am looking forward to using my skills and knowledge to help care for the next family!
