Hello there! My name is Stephanie Ramirez, I am 19 years old, and I am a full-time college student, dancer, writer, artist and musician. I attend Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, and I am a double major (Liberal Arts & Dance). I am taking this coming semester off (which I've never done before!) because I have plans to move to Florida with my best friend sometime this year, and I need time off to make some money before I flee to paradise (and of course continue my education down there)!! Since I could remember I've always loved everything about the arts, and I swear I learned to dance before I learned to walk! My mother felt no choice but to sign me up for Ballet classes at just 3 years old, and I'm so glad she did because it became one of the biggest parts of my life! Up Read more to a year ago, I was teaching dance classes at my former studio, and I absolutely loved it! I taught children all ages from 3 years old to 15 years old. I find that my knowledge about developmental psychology (one of my college courses) really helps me understand the children and connect with them in a more intimate way, making my job as easy and as fun as it could be, given that I'm already in love with children! I am also the oldest of 6 sisters who I used to watch over when they were young. Also, I have many baby cousins that I have watched over (and still do) many times, including my little cousin Anthony who is Autistic. Some even for days at a time when their parents would go on vacations- because I'm trusted with children. I have also done this for my own friends and my Mom's friends as well. I am also First Aid/CPR/AED Certified for Adults, Children, and Infants by the Red Cross. I took this training in school a year ago and I'm so glad I did! You should also know that I am Dominican, which means I loveee food! I like to get busy and crafty in the kitchen, and I would always make sure to not only feed your children, but feed them accordingly, with love and plenty of veggies! As a dancer and a dance major, health and diet are extremely important to me. I've even taken health courses like Human Nutrition and Anatomy & Phys which I've taken to heart and applied to my daily life. You can be sure that your children are being well fed and taken care of with me!
