Hello, I am a special education teacher recently retired after 33 years teaching in Lawrence. Although I held different positions thorough the years, my favorite will always be the years spent with my self contained classroom of students with down syndrome. I love retirement but have a void and feel spending time with a child or adult with down syndrome would benefit both of us. Although I have a Masters degree, I am not looking for an 8-5 job but rather very part time employment.
