The hardest job one will ever have in life - that of being a Mom (and for awhile a single one at that) - brings with me a wealth of lifetime learned experience that no part-timer or inexperienced non-Mom can offer. I successfully raised three responsible kids -now young adults - all of whom graduated from top colleges with honors, and all three are now productively and gainfully employed in their chosen fields, living in NYC. Both a testament and a joy! Being highly experienced in all facets of their respective ages and stages development - from babyhood right on through the 'trying teens' (2 boys and a girl) I can honestly say that my wealth of varied experience, my dedication to the 'whole person' aspects of assisting responsible children, helps promote a well-being attitude and atmosphere to their (and your) environment. Whether it be simple care giving and imaginative Read more playing (their 'work'!) with your littlest ones, to helping with homework, driving to and from any and all sorts of after-school activities (I shepherded 3 little athletes to and from rinks, fields, games, dance classes, music lessons, 'club activities') I have experience in it all and a comfortability and patience to go along with it. Light clean-ups, promoting responsibility and respect for self, others, possessions and elders, as well as a passion for cooking, and above all, ensuring the safety of your dearest ones, is my speciality. My job is to lighten your load, provide needed assistance within the parameters and rules of your household and family structure, and bring a smile and a little laughter with me at all times! I am available for part time, temporary fill-in, or more full time positions. I also love pets so am happy to include care in that regard.
