Hi! My name is Victoria. I am 22, going on 23, and a fifth year senior psychology major double minoring in childhood studies and Holocaust and genocide studies at Stockton University! My first ever babysitting job was being a summer nanny for twin two-year-old boys, one of which who had sensory perception disorder. I put them down for naps, made their breakfast and lunch, sometimes even dinner, and did some light housekeeping. I was also teaching the boys how to read and write. We were very active outback playing sports. When we weren't play sports, we were reading. In high school I took a class called child development for three years; a preschool class came in every Tuesday and Thursday and we were the teachers. I worked my way up to the independent study, where we created everything for the entire year and followed through. I also have experience working Read more at a daycare, where I mainly worked with the infants to three-year-olds, but would sub with the three to twelve-year-olds. I had the opportunity last semester to work with 7th grade math students in Atlantic City. Next semester I will be working in a kindergarten classroom with students who are enrolled in early intervention. Working with children is my life. I have always wanted to do it, and luckily have been given many opportunities to make that dream a reality. I have never met a child who I could not make smile.
