Qualifications: I began babysitting in high school and loved all of my experiences and all the different kids of all ages I had the opportunity to care for! At the end of high school, I worked at a camp for 3-6 year olds. I graduated college in 2008 and received a masters degree in 2009, both from Stanford, babysitting when I had the chance. I worked in Chicago for 2 years, volunteering at a children's hospital every week in the hospital's playroom. After that, I headed back to New Jersey for school. I worked as a camp counselor for 12-18 year olds in Greece in 2009. As a medical student, I am ACLS (which includes BLS/CPR certification) certified. I'm finishing up my fourth year to start residency this summer. Why I love being a caregiver: I love working with kids! I originally thought I wanted to be a pediatrician but Read more I realized all the things I loved about working with kids suited me better for being a babysitter than a pediatrician. I love experiencing the world through the eyes of kids of all ages and I love finding activities that are age and developmentally appropriate for each child.
