Hello there, parents! :-) my name is Estella, I am a Bloomfield resident my whole life and a full-time Montclair State student! I am currently a part time receptionist for a psychologist’s office looking for some weekend work or anything that fits my schedule (and yours)! I have light experience, my brother is 14 now and on the scale with mild Asperger’s while another kid I’ve babysat occasionally has major Autism, so I am mildly experienced in working with kids with special needs. I have handled babies 6 mos and up. I’ve also babysat for a lovely family in Upper Montclair who would be thrilled to confirm that I’m pretty awesome, haha! I am a sucker for board games, I love to draw and write, and there is nothing that stands between me and a game of frisbee or basketball on a nice day!! Estella and I exchanged several informational texts about the position. She said she was very interested and that the hours I was looking for worked perfectly for her. We had a phone interview, during which we even discussed salary and she reiterated that she would never need to go to her other, retail job on Tuesdays and Thursdays because she had school, so she wouldn't have to let me down and the hours I needed were ideal. The day of (or day before) our meeting in person to finalize the hire, Estella texted me that she had to go into work "to close" the store. On a Thursday!! I wrote back, "Ok. Are you still interested in the position?" She never responded. Common courtesy. Obviously, unreliable.
