My name is Lesley, and I'm 40 years old. I am currently looking for a full or part time position as a nanny /babysitter and I am very flexible in terms of hours/ start date. I currently live in Brick and grew up in Verona. A little bit of my history: I have always had such a genuine love of children. I started babysitting when I was about 13 years old, for children of all ages. I was a full time nanny for several summers while I was in college. I am an elementary school teacher as well, although currently I am not teaching. I previously taught kindergarten and toddler aged children up to 5th grade for several years and absolutely love being a teacher!!! For the past 2+ years I was a full time nanny for a family with 2 children, now ages 2 & 5. I was responsible Read more for mostly all of the daily functions of the household; including, food shopping, running general errands, children's laundry, preparing dinner, bathing the kids and overseeing bedtime routines, scheduling and attending the children's Dr's appointments, haircuts, activities: baseball games, swimming, gym classes, etc, helping with homework, and getting the children prepared for the following school day. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker, have a clean driving record and have my own car. I am also an aunt to 4 absolutely amazing nephews, ages 2-6 years old, they are truly the light of my life and I completely adore them beyond words!!!! That being said, I would welcome the opportunity to care for your child(ren) and can absolutely assure you that they would be in safe and responsible hands!! I consider myself to be patient, warm, nurturing, and engaging when caring for children, and most importantly, would provide a safe, loving environment for your child(ren).
